'God-Hates-Fags' People Give Up When faced With PDX Silliness

You are probably already familiar with the Westboro Baptist "Church" crazies that show up at funerals of soldiers with their 'God Hates Fags' signs and makes a scene with their outrageous nonsense.
 Whenever they show up there is almost always a counter-protest of angry people who only seem to fuel the fire.

I was happy to see that when they showed up yesterday and again this morning in our area they were faced with the one thing they didn't seem to know how to deal with;
 Typical Portland-area silliness.

Instead of an angry mob of counter-protesters there were scores of people with silly signs; "Pac Man Hates Ghosts", "I Don't Remember Where I Parked My Car" and "I Have A Sign" were among the huge signs I saw Portlanders show up with.
 The sheer number of silly signs was astonishing.
 After a short while the Westboro anti-gay hate group saw that nobody was taking them seriously and they just seemed to give up and left with dumbfounded expressions.

 I hope that the rest of the country takes note;
 The best way to deal with these A-holes is to laugh at them.

 If the response in the PDX area is any indication it would appear that laughing at them is something like throwing a bucket of water on the Wicked Witch of the West!
