Nobel Prize - not what it used to be!

My topic header was in the subject line of an email I received.

This was my response;

"Not what it used to be"?

Maybe WE need to start paying more attention and realize that the Nobel peace Prize never DID mean anything other that that one was approved of by those on the Left.
Oh and by the way...I have yet to hear anyone mention that Gandhi was never given the nod by the Novel committee.

Still, the worst thing we can say about President Obama receiving the "Prize" is that he has done nothing to deserve it.

Want to hear about some other previous winners of the Nobel Peace Prize?

Yasser Arafat
The terrorist leader who promoted violence and hatred toward the Jewish people and victimized his own in order to gain power.
This award actually caused at least one member of the Nobel committee to resign.

Cordell Hull
Roosevelt's Secretary of State who pressured the president to turn away a ship of 950 Jewish refugees seeking asylum from Nazi persecution.
The ship was forced to return to Germany and many of the passengers ultimately ended up dying in Concentration Camps.

Rigoberta MenchĂș
A leftist who was a tool of the Marxists in order to further their communist agenda and lent her name to a book of her "biography" which turned out to be nothing but a fabricated account of her life written by, not her as she had claimed, but by a French Communist.

Wangari Maathai
The Kenyan environmental and political activist who helped to promote the idea that HIV was invented by white scientists in order to murder and wipe out black people.

Jimmy Carter
The ex-President who has shown himself to be an anti-Semite and helped to undermine the confidence of our troops and citizens by accusing President Bush of exploiting the suffering of Sept. 11 and, more recently, has said that those who do not support Obama's move toward a socialist system of health care are racists.

Al Gore

The man who continues to promote the myth of catastrophic man-made Global Warming in order to line his own pockets with millions of dollars from the green technology companies he invests in.

No my friends, the Nobel Peace Prize never did mean anything. At least nothing truly good.

We just weren't paying attention.
